July 3rd , I’m scheduled for a second, more intensive tailbone surgery. The first procedure I had at 19 didn’t resolve the issue, and doctors have recently informed me that they’ll need to go deeper this time to address the root of the problem. The pain has become a constant presence in my life - often intense, always exhausting.
