Surgery and aftercare for Pip the Otter

For over a year now Pip is suffering from a big tumor-ish bump on her back paw. We tried a lot to make it go away without any surgery. But a few months ago it grew so badly and fast we decided to operationally remove the bumb. After that surgery she seemed to recover very well from it.

Sadly enough it all grew back like crazy the last few weeks and a second surgery is necessary. The surgery will be done by two specialists (both zoo animal-vet’s) as this is an unusual animal and health situation, the more knowledge and experience to share, the better.

There is a big chance her foot will be amputated. But we hope to only remove one toe.

As it is not in my nature to ask for money, I feel a little unconfortable creating this GoFundMe. But Pip and I would be so thankfull for you people to help us out a little during the surgery and with the aftercare.
