Surgery Needed to Save Vania's Eyes

Donation protected
I am hoping to raise money for a close family friend. Her name is Vania Maria Navarro, a 28-year-old mother to a 4-year-old boy.

Tragically, in 2024, Vania was kidnapped in the city of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. During her captivity, her captors poured a chemical substance into her eyes, causing severe and permanent damage to her corneas. She underwent emergency surgery to save what little vision she had left. Now, she urgently needs a second surgery to have a special lens implanted in her corneas.

Without this surgery, Vania will lose her sight completely.

The emotional and psychological trauma she and her family have endured is unimaginable—and irreversible. On top of this suffering, they are now struggling to cover the costs of medical treatment, travel to the city where the surgery will take place, and debts her parents incurred while fighting to bring her home.

On behalf of Vania Maria and her loved ones, we are asking from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion and support. Your donation could help save her sight—and give her and her young son a chance at a future with hope.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
