Surgery Needed: Roller Derby Injury Relief

Hi world! As many of you know, I partake in this crazy sport where you wear skates and purposely hit other people while scoring points! It's gnarly, fun, and *dangerous*. Why do I play roller derby you ask? Well, because it brings me joy, community, and unfortunately also an injury! Thursday night at practice, I took a good tumble and broke my fibula and tore the ligaments in my ankle. I have to get surgery on my ankle and will be off of it for many weeks. This directly impacts my ability to work, as I am a server/bartender and my feet are my most prized possession for my job (besides my ability to make a damn good old fashioned lol).

I am asking for donations to help me get through these next few months of financial stress. I know this is a hard time of year (because you've probably spent all of your money on Christmas presents), so please consider this last. Any amount is so appreciated, and will create a bit of security for me as I wait for my body to heal!
