Two weeks ago, my family and I took in a stray cat who we have named “Mama Tortie”. When we took her to the vet , we learned that she was pregnant. Over the past two weeks, we’ve come to realize that her pregnancy is no longer viable. She now needs a surgery to prevent infection and protect her longterm health.
