Surgery needed for severe diastases recti repair.

As many of you know I’ve been struggling with some health challenges these past few years. Recently, I have discovered with the help of a skilled abdominal surgeon that I have a severe diastase recti. It’s where the abdominal muscles separate. Small diastases recti usually cause no issues. But mine is so large that you can see my intestines moving across my abdomen beneath my skin and there is no support for my internal organs.

I told countless doctors about the snaking intestinal movement and most of them told me it was “normal.” But I knew it wasn’t and isn’t normal, especially since it hurts, causing severe pain! It wasn’t until my current surgeon told me why I was having those symptoms that it all made sense to me.

The surgeon I’m working with believes this is what is causing all my pain and issues.and I 100% believe it. No internal support for organs causes a lot of issues. It all makes sense as I feel I have no support inside. I’ve been to countless doctors as have done countless therapies… but they will never work because what I struggle with is structural.

I’ve been able to reduce my symptoms by eating clean (less pressure inside the abdomen) and by taping my stomach with kinetic tape. But to resolve the issue completely and for good, I need this surgery.

The problem is that insurance does not cover this surgery. And so I am reaching out to you, my dear friends and family to help me raise money for this procedure. I cannot do it without you, as I have blown through all my resources over the course of 4 years.

The surgery is $10,100. Yes crazy expensive… but with a little help from everyone I believe we can make this happen and FINALLY heal my body and get me living the good life I know will result from this surgery!

I believe that things happen for a reason. I’m not sure yet what the reason is for this… but perhaps we are at times given challenges to help us bloom and grow stronger and become refined so we can help others in much more powerful ways than we could ever imagine.

My dream is to flourish and to contribute to humanity through the lessons of my immense suffering. To teach others to never give up despite crawling through hell…despite being told it’s all in your head… despite insurmountable pain and challenges… to believe more in their dreams than their fears.

We are all one little drop in a vast ocean… but together, we can flood the earth with goodness and love.
