My daughter Gabrielle found herself facing a health challenge we never saw coming. After experiencing some intense pain she found out she needed to have her appendix out. She was hospitalized right away. Thankfully it had not bursted and the surgery seemed pretty simple. Unfortunately 11 hours after discharge from the hospital we had to take her back to the ER and she was admitted again. Two days after her still fighting intense pain, they did another CT. They said that her intestines were full of fecal matter. They gave her miralax and two enemas during the next two days. They decided that since she still wasn’t getting better but worse they were going to preform another CT, this time they found that she had a hole in her colon and she was septic. She needed a second surgery. This surgery closed the hole and cleaned out her body since the fecal matter had been dumped into her abdomen. She has been in the hospital since Oct. 2nd,2023 fighting for her life. Infections, intense pain, and fighting to get through this

for her two year old son Jesse. She is constantly fighting not just physically but mentally. She has no income now and a two year son that just doesn’t understand why his mommy can not come home! Unfortunately these hospitalizations have caused a huge financial hardship for her and her two year old son. She does not have a discharge date from the hospital as of now. She is still fighting an infection, low hemoglobin (which caused the need for a blood transfusion) and intense pain. Please help and spread the word. Any financial help will help with the expenses of the medical bills that will come but also the daily expenses now and after discharge from the hospital. Dear compassionate friends and individuals,

We are coming together today to reach out for support. I have endured multiple surgical errors during my recent appendectomy, resulting in severe complications and an extended hospital stay. We have created this GoFundMe campaign to provide me and my son Jesse with the necessary assistance to recover physically, emotionally, and financially, and to help me reconnect with my beloved toddler son.

I I underwent what should have been a straightforward appendectomy on October 1, 2023. However, a tragic surgical error occurred, causing my colon to open up. Shockingly, I was discharged from the hospital without proper evaluation of my bowels' functionality.

12 hours later, I began experiencing excruciating pain, prompting me to seek medical attention once again. Unfortunately, medical professionals failed to recognize the severity of my condition until my belly became visibly extended two days later after hours of an enema disappearing. Only then was a CT scan performed, revealing the damage to my colon. On October 4, 2023, I underwent a another emergency surgery to repair my colon, which required the removal of a small part of it.

Today (October 15th,2023) I was informed that my sutures may have opened again (the sutures from my second surgery) which may result in another surgery and continued hospitalization.

The physical pain, emotional turmoil, and financial strain on me and my family are overwhelming. The prolonged hospital stay and inability to work have resulted in a significant loss of income, making it increasingly difficult for me to provide for myself and my toddler son's needs. Additionally, the inability to spend quality time with my child due to the hospitalization has taken an immense toll on my emotional well-being.

Today, we are reaching out to our compassionate community, asking for your support in helping me overcome these obstacles and reunite with my toddler son. The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will alleviate the burdensome medical expenses, including hospital bills, medications, follow-up appointments, and any future treatments required for my complete recovery.
