Surgery is tough, but so is Tiffany #OliversArmy
Donation protected
In late 2021 doctors discovered early cancerous cells in Tiffany Oliver's uterus. She is scheduled for major surgery Jan. 19th and may face subsequent rounds of chemo and cancer treatments. In the best-case scenario, she faces 6 weeks of recovery, most of which is unpaid leave. This new difficulty follows a year of major health challenges with her husband. Our starting goal is $5,000, which will go primarily towards mounting medical expenses not covered by insurance.
We are inviting you to help us give back to someone who has given so much to our community. Everyone knows that a teacher's salary doesn't cover much, but that's never stopped Mrs. Oliver from pursuing her passion for teaching for the past 19 years. She has helped thousands of students discover a love for science and she has received the highest awards for her dedication. These include the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, Recognition in Google's Ed Foo Education Conference, and a State of Florida Science Teacher of the year. Beyond her teaching, the impact of her volunteer and community involvement can be clearly seen by following her Twitter handle @starfishtiff; there's just too much to post all of it here in one GoFundMe.
Every small amount is appreciated. If you're not able to donate, we appreciate you keeping Mrs. Oliver in your thoughts and sharing this GoFundMe with any friends and family that we may have missed. You can also send directly with Venmo to @TiffanyOliver
