Jesinya is a passionate community outreach worker in Providence. She provides valuable resources and support to sex workers, drug users, and trans people in our city. Now let us support her to afford gender affirming facial feminization surgery <3
In the past Jesinya was stabbed by a man in rhode island while engaging in survival sex work as a transgender woman. Jesinya was also formerly incarcerated in RI. She formerly lived at the only LGBT homeless shelter in our state (which, sadly no longer exists), which led her to get on her feet and into her own apartment.
These barriers and setbacks have never stopped Jesinya from caring for and supporting those most vulnerable in our city. Today Jesinya is working as a community outreach worker and co-facilitates a support group for trans people in Rhode Island.
Facial feminization surgery is something Jesinya has wanted for a long time, let’s show her our support by making it happen!
