Help Me Get This Lipoma Outta Here (please)!

Hey friends! So, here’s the thing: I’ve recently discovered that I have a growing problem... literally. There’s a sizable lipoma (aka fatty lump) chilling in my abdomen, right between my oblique muscles, and it’s decided to stretch its legs a little too much for my liking. It’s started causing some pain, and though it’s likely benign (thankfully, based on the CT scan), it needs to be removed before it becomes an even bigger headache.

Here’s the catch: The surgery is $1200 for the copay (yay American healthcare, thank god for insurance but it BLOWS), plus another $600-$800 for pathology to make sure it’s not throwing any surprises my way. And while I have that insurance, apparently “life-ing” is a full-time job, and the cost of everything doesn’t magically disappear when you’re both working hard.

So, I’m reaching out to my community for help. Any little bit you can contribute would be greatly appreciated to help get this lump out of my life (and my belly). It’s time to kick this lipoma to the curb, but I need a little financial boost to make it happen. Thanks in advance for your kindness and support!
