Surgery Fund for Pabst

Donation protected

On Sunday, November 3rd, Pabst the three-legged chihuahua was in an altercation with his much larger sister over a treat. Being all of seven pounds, he lost the scuffle and ended up with a torn ear and a badly dislocated hip. The vets were unsure if they'd even be able to operate on such a fragile little dog who had already been through a limb amputation in his life. The dislocation was so severe that there is no hope of a recovery without this surgery.  But after an exam, it was determined that he is fit to undergo the surgery.

Pabst has been an ambassador for disabled dogs ever since he was adopted from the Hawaiian Humane Society. His owners, Ari and Fuji, have fostered numerous animals while they await rescue, and Ari has worked previously in animal welfare at several different shelters, and volunteered helping save animals during the disastrous fires in California earlier this year. Pabst is her soul dog. Ari and Fuji would do anything within their power to look after their pets, who are like their children. They are generous, giving people who are friends to everyone they meet. We are hoping that this can be our chance to support our friends during this stressful, scary time.

Pabst will likely go into surgery tomorrow, November 5th. Ari and Fuji are prepared to find a way to fund this, even if it means going into debt or sacrificing their own needs. Hopefully, with your help, we can spare them some of the hardship. Please consider donating if you are able. Pabst needs us.
