Over the past nearly 20 years my mom has had too many spinal surgeries to count due to a spinal injury that keeps progressing. In addition, one surgeon in Texas had some malpractices which led to more damage. She’s also battled breast cancer and countless other struggles.

Thankfully, there is something that may help. My mom hopes to get what is called a pain pump put in this month, which is a device that will hopefully provide some relief to the pain.

However, the procedure is not cheap and as *great* as the American healthcare system is (all jokes aside), insurance does not cover 100%
