Hello Friends and Fam!

Last week Fern stepped in a gopher hole while we were playing at the park and tore her Cranial Cruciate Ligament in her rear left leg. The equivalent of an ACL tear for a human. She has been unable to put any weight on her leg and is currently on pain meds, sedatives, and anti-inflammatory medications.

After X-rays and vet appointments, it looks like the only way to ensure Fern is able to continue living an active and pain free life is to perform surgery. Unfortunately they do not accept payment plans and while I have been trying to pay off debt/get my credit together, I don’t qualify for a loan right now.
