Hi, I am Carol and I originally set up this fundraiser to help cover surgery costs for a very sweet rescue dog called Noel.

I am delighted to tell you that thanks to everyone's generosity, we were able to raise £600 so Noel has been able to have his surgery and is now well on the way to a pain free life.

As I am aware that funds are very tight for Polis Pound, I have decided to continue to help with their fund raising to ensure that they can continue to provide food, shelter and medical treatment for the dogs in their care.

Polis Pound provides a caring, safe and happy environment for abandoned dogs with the long term aim of helping them to find their forever homes. As you can imagine, the cost of all this is massive and they rely entirely on donations along with the goodwill of volunteers to survive.

Without Polis Pound, many of these dogs would be left to live a painful and miserable life before dying of starvation.

If you are able to help, no amount is too small and every penny will be spent on helping to improve the quality of life for these dogs. If you are not in a position to donate, you can still help by sharing this.
