Hello, our baby Roxy was a rescue, found on my sister's porch. She was filthy, matted and tangled to where she had to have a buzz cut, malnourished and weak. We've had her for 2 years and she's about 5 years old. When we took her to the Vet, they informed us she had bad joints and some arthritis. We have stairs for the couch and bed, but it's not enough. Roxy is now in need of knee surgery. The cap is to the side and she is in constant pain. It's hard to see her suffering as she's not her normal feisty self. The Vet said the only cure is surgery and that it will be a permanent fix. The cost of surgery, blood work, X-ray, anesthesia etc, comes to $2,400.
