Surgery for Po Boy's Bones

Update, Jan 28:

Po Boy received his surgery on Jan 10, and got his stitches removed Jan 24. He's healing well and I can take his cone off on Jan 31. His next follow up appointment will be on Feb 7. :)

As of today, Jan 6th, I am funding my 5-month-old cat, Po Boy's, surgery and all associated veterinary bills.

January second, I tried bringing my dog Thelma home to live with me again, who had been living with my mom and step-father. Shortly after bringing her home, I lost control of her, and she went after Po Boy.

I am grateful that she allowed me to pry her jaws apart, but I found out after a couple of veterinary visits that she ended up breaking his femur and pelvis.

I feel so much guilt and I am overwhelmed, trying to facilitate his treatment and stay above water.

He will need specialized surgery within a month, which could exceed 10 thousand dollars. I am currently corresponding with multiple veterinarians, and seeking an estimate of cost, so my funding goal may change.
