I am raising money for a friend in Thailand. My friend's dad needs urgent surgery for colon cancer. My friend's dad was a Christian minister in Pakistan before he was forced to leave his country. My friend makes about $700 USD monthly, and his father's medical bills are $3500 USD. Your donation will be designated as "medical relief for the needy" and is tax deductible as Real Battle Ministries is a 501(c)3 organization.
Here is his story:
"My name is AJ, and I am a Pakistani Christian who has been persecuted just because we are Christians. My house was next to a mosque and everybody knew that we are Christians. One day some muslim extremists came to my house and beat my family while I was not at home. Twice they tried to kidnap me. We were threaten to be killed under the law of blasphemy. Also they destroyed our house. We tried to ask for help from the police, but they refused to help us. We moved to another city but they followed us. We finally left our country because of serious life threats. Now my family and I are in Thailand for the last 40 months. We applied for asylum with the United Nations. In my family we are five members: my mother, my father, two sisters, and me.
In August 2016, my father saw blood while he was passing stool. At first we thought it was a reaction of changing medicine for diabetes. The doctor didn't find any thing wrong in the initial medical examination. The doctor suggested a colonoscopy, which they reported a tumor in his large intestine. The barium test found a 2-inch tumor suspicious for cancer. The biopsy report confirms that it is a cancer.

Now the doctors are recommending a CT scan to determine the root of the cancer. The CT scan is quite expensive for me, as well as the previous tests. The CT scan costs about 15000 THB = $500 USD. The hospital gave me the estimate for the surgery at about 100000 THB = about $3000 USD. I cannot afford to pay for my father's medical bills.
Pray for my father and also prayer that God provides resources to pay his medical bills. And please spread this message to others to pray for my father."
From the appearance of the colonoscopy, the tumor seems isolated and has not spread far. So surgery will be life-giving and allow this man to live and do GOD's work.
