This week I adopted a dapper two-year-old Norfolk terrier mix named Oliver Twist, and after a vet visit and x-rays, it turns out that he has two fractures on his pelvis. He was probably hit by a car, though the surgeons can't tell when. He is doing great, but he needs surgery very soon. Unfortunately, it is a somewhat expensive procedure. My options are to bring him back to the shelter or help him recover. I have the time to see that he gets better, but right now I don't have the funds. I do not like these campaigns asking for money, but Oliver is a sweetheart, and he has been through a ton of trauma. He has gotten comfortable at my house (mostly on my guitar case), and I really don't want to put him through more trauma by taking him back to a shelter.
The surgery will cost $2,440.43. If by any chance you could donate to help this little guy, I would be greatly appreciative. Anything will help. After the surgery, he should be able to walk and run normally again and enjoy his doggie life to the fullest.
Oliver Twist-Cohen and I thank you!
