This horse is part of our family and we would do anything for him. My girlfriend doesn’t know I made this go fund me account and I’m not expecting to get the entire air here paid for but I had to try for him. He doesn’t ask for much other than hay, grain and love. A little back story on this thoroughbred horse. Tiger was born in 2007 and was always meant to be a racehorse. His blood line comes down from Secretariat, the 1973 triple crown winner. Tiger was an awesome race horse who won or placed in the top 3 in every race he ran. He made his owners over $100,000. But he never had the love he deserved. He was injured only 1 year into his racing career and that was it. He was sent to the highest bidder and forgotten, that was until he met my girlfriend Ashley in 2013. He was skinny, malnourished and never truly knew what it was to have a human who loved him for him. Ashley adopted him soon after that and it’s been a love story ever since. He’s amazing to look at now and deserves the chance to keep on living. He’s an amazing horse, I’ve never been one to trust horses but in the 5 years I’ve known tiger he’s completely changed my opinion. He’s so smart and so thoughtful. He knows when your near by and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He calls out when we show up, his eyes light up when he sees Ashley. I could go on and on but to get to the point he had a type hernia and the portion of intestines (4 ft long) had to be removed. He was in so much pain and we caught it quick so his chances of surviving this are great. But we had to put $10,000 on a credit card for the surgery and treatments. My girlfriend is so scared for him and isn’t thinking about the cost. But I’m here on a whim to see what we can do for this horse that hasn’t asked for anything in this world. He’s family and you do anything for family. He’s a beautiful amazing creature and he’s my girlfriend’s world. He deserves to live and we were not going to give up on him. He just had his surgery today but he is doing great. He will melt your heart if nothing else. Thank you! Tiger will ride on!!
