Hello, my name is Kayla, and this is my boy Monty ❤️

I rehomed Monty about 18 months ago after his previous owners were no longer able to keep him. From the moment he came into my life, he’s been my shadow and brings me so much happiness and joy. I wasn’t informed at time that he has several health issues, and since then I’ve had some unexpected and costly vet bills.

Unfortunately, his condition is classed as pre existing, which means it isn’t covered by insurance.

Recently, my circumstances have changed, and I am struggling financially. I’ve even had to think about rehoming him, but I just can’t bring myself to do it, he’s not just a pet, he’s my baby and part of the family.

Monty needs further dental treatment, including having more teeth removed. There’s a chance he may not have many or any teeth left afterwards.

I’ve created this page after encouragement from the Maine Coon group, in the hope of raising funds to get him the treatment he needs.

It’s honestly been so hard to ask for help, but if you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean more than I can put into words. Even just sharing this would help so much ❤️
