Surgery for Meridith

Calling all unruly humans who have been impacted by Meridith! 
As anyone who knows her has seen, Meridith is a selfless person, always ready with an irreverent comment or joke, willing to give the shirt off her back to anyone needing help, and putting her own needs last. She is a counselor and friend to her clients, a fighter against injustice, and a fierce advocate for her family and friends. 

Though you'd never know it, for many years, she has suffered from a medical issue in her sinuses and lived with pain and constant infections. It has been recommended by her doctor that she undergo a surgery that will bench her for a few weeks and cost several thousand dollars. The surgery will require her to have full time care for the first week, then recuperate for another couple of weeks. As a self-employed person, she hasn't got short term disability options, and as the sole provider for her household, that leaves her with limited options to get treatment.

She never asks for help, and rarely talks about her own struggles, but always lends an ear and hand to those around her. She's impacted my life for the better, and she has raised 2 amazing, loving children while balancing the world on her shoulders and making it look effortless.
