Surgery for Macsen's OSA

I've really struggled posting this but here goes...

Macsen has been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea which affects his ability to breathe properly while he sleeps. His tonsils & adenoids are so enlarged that he only has 25% of breathing capacity when he sleeps.

It has gotten so bad the last few months and we have had to resort to getting treatment privately because the NHS waiting list is so long and Macsen is already severely underweight, we need to get this done.

Obstructive sleep apnoea causes ADHD symptoms (something we've always thought he's had) as well as poor weight gain & low immune system.

As Macsen is underweight, the only place he can have the surgery at is London Portland hospital. London hospital, London prices.

His surgery is going to cost us in the region of £5,000 and we don't have insurance and there are no Finance options available.

We have Malaysia booked for the end of May to meet his family over there for the first time. We have thought so many times about cancelling this holiday to pay for his surgery but we cannot do that to him, he has every right to be able to enjoy this trip to meet his family.

We were in a difficult financial situation when he was born 15 weeks early with no income whilst we stayed with him for 4 months at hospital. From that experience, people were annoyed we didn't reach for help, this time round, we thought we would ask for help.

I know everyone is struggling at the moment but if you could spare anything towards Macsen's surgery, every little helps.

We have been told that we should see a huge difference in Macsen as soon as he has the surgery which includes him putting weight on & having the quality sleep he so deserves!
