My name is Jazmyn Singh and I am 19 years old from New Braunfels, TX! My dog's name is Lily; she is a 10-year-old German Shepherd Mix! My family and I adopted her from an animal shelter in San Antonio about 9 years ago. Lily is the sweetest, most loyal companion. She loves going on walks, napping, and will eat anything and everything!
About 3 years ago, we noticed masses on her abdomen and sides. Over time, these masses began to grow and more began to appear. A couple of months ago, a small mass near her left armpit became ulcerated and has remained since. Because her open mass refuses to heal, Lily has been living with a plastic E-collar on so that she is not able to lick her wound, which prevents it from healing. Since Lily has had the E-collar on, her open mass still refuses to heal. After a trip to the veterinarian, we were told that she would need surgery to remove these masses of concern. Without the surgery, the open mass near her armpit continues to worsen, eating away at the nearby skin, and the masses on her abdomen continue to grow and multiply.
Lily is my first pet and she means everything to me and my family. This money will cover the cost of her surgery. The surgery will successfully remove the masses on Lily's abdomen/sides and the ulcerated mass near her armpit. This surgery will also allow us to send these masses for a biopsy, determining exactly what they are. We will then know how to take the necessary steps to support Lily's health and wellness for the years to come, and she will be free of the ulcerated wound on her armpit (and the E-collar she has been living with) and the many masses that have grown under her skin! Please donate anything you can, whether it be $5 or $100, anything will help! Me and my family’s hearts are truly for the health and wellbeing of Lily. All donations will go towards Lily’s surgery!
