Surgery For King Lou

Donación protegida

A little over a week ago, Louie started to show signs of discomfort. He was having a lot accidents in the house, i knew something was wrong. His energy levels were low and he had this look of discomfort. I took him to a dr in the Bay Area but they just prescribed medicine for a parasite. I felt like it was something much more than that. Sunday Morning, we drove back home to Indio. Where our local dr ran multiple tests and called me the next day with news that I was dreading. His liver enzymes levels were really elevated, he needed to be admitted to an ER right away. We drove to murrieta and had multiple tests done to try and figure out what toxin is causing damage to his liver. They’ve been giving him antibiotics and tons of other fluids to help Lou recover. Although, his clotting levels are better. His liver enzymes are still elevated. The dr recommended we do a biopsy which means they have to do surgery to find out why his levels haven’t dropped and what’s making his liver so upset. He has to go under anesthesia and they have to place a feeding tube for him because he won’t eat. It could be possible lymphoma, I’m praying it’s not. Im praying it’s something reversible. I know Lou can pull through but unfortunately everything has been adding up and I’ve been able to do it on my own up until now. With this surgery being so costly, I’m now at a point that I don’t want to give up on him just yet. I’m not use to asking for help but it’s not about me: it’s about Lou he’s only two.

Im thankful and grateful for anything you’re able to donate. Thank you again and please continue to keep lou in your prayers
