Surgery for Jace Buldging Disc

Jace (aka Piggy) is a French bulldog that lives in Denver who loves nothing more than to play play play all day long. He doesn’t need a human to play fetch or any other game with him. This independent little dog plays soccer and fetch all by himself and keeps himself entertained. One toy in his mouth while one being kicked around is his favorite form of entertainment.

This week Jace was having issues walking and had a lot of pain in his back legs. We took him to the animal hospital on Thursday and the vetinartian told us that he has a buldging disc. This means that the dog who loves being active and playing all day long would have to be on bed rest. 

The last two days have been extremely hard for Tyler and I. We’ve tried to make him as stationary and comfortable as possible, but piggy is still experiencing a lot of pain and issues. We stayed up all night with him last night and early this morning we took Jace back to the animal emergency room. The vet told us that he would need surgery to have anything close to a normal life.

We are not the ones to ask for help; were certainly not the ones to ask for money, but we’re scared for our dog and we need help. The fees and finances of the surgery and recovery are too much for us to cover. It kills me to have to set this up and ask for money, but we have to give Jace his best chance. We have to help him in anyway that we can. If you can donate anything small or large we will be forever thankful for your help and Jace will be too! :)
