Helping Honey (Pawsitive Cattitudes Rescue)
Donation protected
Many of you will remember the beautiful but badly injured cat (now named Honey) that the lovely Smia and her brother rescued. She was dismissed as a 'Put to Sleep' case by two different vets, due to her badly mangled leg.
She has now been to the absolutely excellent Tees Vets in Yarm, where once again, Kris has shown his compassion and devotion to animals, and given us a significantly reduced price on surgery ❤️
She will need to have her entire leg amputated - not only is the stump infected, but as suspected, her hip was dislocated and had re-healed, in a particularly bad position.
So - this is where our journey begins to restore Honey to her wonderful self. She is booked in for surgery tomorrow, and we will be there every step of the way for her - through this, her ongoing medical care, neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatment, food, shelter, love - just like we do for every other cat that has been let down in life
If we do reach our target to help Honey, we would be over the moon ❤️
If anyone would like to contribute beyond this, to our vet bills, food, litter, medical treatments, vaccinations, neutering (and everything else), we would be incredibly grateful.
We would like to thank Smia and her brother, alongside Lise James and her excellent rescue, for making it possible to get this far along Honey's journey ❤️
We are Pawsitive Cattitudes Rescue - a Yarm,
Stockton and Eaglescliffe rescue.
We take in cats in need, prioritising those who
need us the most.
This includes abandoned, stray, feral and unwanted cats & kittens.
We rely entirely on donations, events,
sales of donated items & sponsorship.
We do not receive any grants or funding.
We are awaiting a decision in our application for charitable status, as every penny counts, and we are passionate and transparent in everything we do.
We are 'all about the cats' (and the people
who care for them!), so work with
other rescues who have a similar ethos.
Every single donation helps - and is hugely
appreciated
