This is Goofy. He is an 8-year-old poodle. He is energetic, loving, naughty, sweet and kind.

Since we got Goofy in 2008 he has been the loving companion of me and my 13-year-old daughter Gabby.


Goofy is full of beans and has been a great friend to all the children I have looked after during my 8 years as a nanny. Whenever they come to play at my house they love giving Goofy treats and sharing toys with him. I cannot explain how much happiness he has given me and all the children I’ve looked after. 

Last week Goofy was crying out in pain and peeing blood. I took him to the vet who said he has bladder stones. He needs a surgery called a cystotomy to remove them.

The tests and surgery cost a total of $5,000. This is far more than I can afford, but I am desperate to pull together the money so that I can get Goofy on the road to recovery.

He has given me and the children I care for so much joy I will be devastated if I can’t help him through this illness.
