Surgery for Boyfriends broken leg

Im raising donations for my boyfriend who was recently in a self-defense accident.

My boyfriend has Osteogenesis Imperfecta. He was wheelchair bonded till he was 11 years old. He has fractured his legs many times in the past from different incidents. Recently he was in a really bad self defense situation that caused his leg to fully snap. The metal rod is also very bent and he needs surgery ASAP.

He was trying to protect his roommate who was being attacked, in doing so, he ended up with staples in his head and stitches in his hand. He broke the leg in 3 spots, bent the rod that supports his legs. His leg is only staying attached because of the rod in his leg atm. I am trying to save money to get a new rod placed into his leg and to help him get his surgery.
