Surgery for Bash (puppy genital reconstruction)

We are raising money for our 5 month old puppy, Bashful, who has to have genital reconstructive surgery for a rare condition that affects his urinary/reproductive system.

 

He was born with both female and male parts, as well as hypospadias, which means the hole he pees out of is in the wrong place and much larger than it should be.

 

Because of his condition, the inside of Bash's private parts are totally exposed to the outside and his insides don't work as well as they should.  

 

He can't play like normal puppy, as he could get very hurt or end up with a bad infection (which he has multiple times already in his short 5 months).

His largest opening is big enough for things like rocks to get inside, and if this happens, it causes him a lot of pain. 

 

Recently, he had to start wearing diapers when outside to keep things clean and protected.

 

As you can see, he is not a huge fan of this, and would like you to know: "that it is very difficult being a pup and not being able to play with the other dogs because of your diaper that they want to eat."

 

 

 

Unfortunately, Bash's pet insurance wont even cover the vet appointments to manage his frequent UTIs, and nothing related to his surgery. For this reason we are attempting to raise money, so we can get Bash the care he deserves as soon as possible.
