Hey, my name is Laura and I’m fundraising money to do surgery on my dog Freya. Today we found out she ripped her ACL and the surgery is quite expensive. The vet recommended me to do a GoFundMe but honestly, I don’t know if it will work. I know everyone struggling so would truly appreciate a dollar here or there.

she is truly the best dog and has given my family so much joy. She has loved every foster kid that has come to our home, cuddled when we’re sad, or steal a cheeseburger when you’re not working. She is strong, beautiful, and to see her in so much pain is heartbreaking.

I was told the ballpark would be $7000 and with her weight can be more for larger breeds. Also, the surgery is out of town( about two hours away). Money would help for gas and hotel. Whatever left over would go to our local animal shelter.
