Hi, I'm Kimberlee and I'm trying to help out my friend and coworker Amber.
Amber was diagnosed about 7 years ago with stage 4 Endometriosis, this is a disorder where the tissue that generally lines your uterus ends up existing in other areas such as your ovaries where it causes horrible pain. Amber's has moved to her colon meaning she is in constant, severe pain. She has had to miss lots of work due to being unable to move and even though insurance will cover the surgery itself, she needs to be able to afford to travel to Maple Grove for the surgery and since it's an abdominal surgery there will be a large healing time. Right now she is barely able to work but after the surgery will be laid up for a while. She is going to need assistance with bills and travel costs to get to Maple Grove and pay for a hotel, she has a history of surgical complications so she might end up being in Maple Grove longer than expected.
We are asking for prayers and to donate if you are able, Amber is a very friendly person and a great worker, it's not right that she's in pain all the time and unable to work.
