Surgery Assistance for Robin Marley

Dear friends,

Over the past four years Robin has had 3 surgeries (two knee replacements and rotator cuff repair. Yes, she feels like the Bionic Woman! She is now looking at a 4th and 5th surgery for cataracts.

Because of this, and other chronic medical issues, she has often had to miss work and often lose pay. Her current job is hourly and does not have available PTO for additional surgeries yet this year as it accrues over time.  Unfortunately she's been told that she will not be able to postpone these surgeries and will have to be out of work for one week per surgery as soon as April 29th.

Having two weeks without pay will present a significant financial burden on her monthly bills in addition to the cost of the procedures themselves. Due to the other surgeries and medications she has to cover each month, she does not have the savings to help her weather this lack of pay and new surgical expenses.
 

For the two weeks without pay and surgery expenses she will need to raise a minimum of $3500 to cover them. Like most of us, she never thought she would have to consider asking for assistance, but she knows that she is blessed with family and friends who will help if they are able.
