Surgery and Medical Treatment for Nova

Hey, my name is Nick Rossi and I’m doing a fundraiser to help pay for surgery and medical treatment that will save my dog’s life. Nova is a sweet, 5 year old Kelpie that loves to travel, explore new trails, swim, play fetch, and chew trees like a beaver.

During a recent trip to the vet, a mass was found in her bladder and it needs to be removed as soon as possible. She has always been extremely healthy, but we’ve accumulated a lot of vet costs from a hematoma and allergy complications earlier this year.  Unfortunately, she doesn’t have insurance and the cost of the operation and rehabilitation is more than we can afford right now.

Nova has been the best friend I’ve ever had. She’s been a beacon of light and support in moments of darkness. She’s been by my side when I’ve felt lost and alone. She has encouraged me to challenge myself and continue moving when all has felt hopeless, and she’s shown me the true depths of loyalty and love. 

We’ve been lucky enough to have some amazing adventures together all over the country.  Nova’s been to 39 states and we’d love for her to see the rest of them some day.  She still has so much energy and vitality, but she needs a little assistance right now.  

I wouldn’t usually ask for help like this, and I know there are people struggling with far worse problems all over the world, but I can’t imagine not trying everything I possibly can.  Any money raised will go towards the surgery and medical expenses so she can live a full, healthy life. I would also appreciate any advice or suggestions from those that have been through something similar.  If you have a moment to share this, we would be very grateful.  Thank you for taking the time to read and/or contribute.  It means so much to us.
