Hello! My name is Jessica and I am a tattoo artist in a little town called Roanoke in Alabama. I started my business from the ground up, which certainly wasn’t easy. I worked multiple jobs and made many sacrifices along the way, but it got me here and we have been doing pretty good. I have been able to help people on their journeys through this business and I can’t express how much it means that I have been able to support my community, and the way they have supported me back. It’s nothing short of amazing. With that being said, I am also a mother and my youngest son is disabled. I have been able to afford his medical care but it doesn’t allow for a lot of wiggle room with emergencies and I haven’t quite been in business long enough to have a nest egg large enough. This leads me to why I have a go fund me. I need surgery, thankfully it’s outpatient, so I shouldn’t be down for too long but I need to get it done asap. Being self employed there are plenty of perks, but having to take time off is not one of them. If you are able to help, I am so so grateful!
