Surgeries for Brutus

Hello there, I’m a friend of Nicole and her family. This year they bonded and homed a mastiff they call Brutus. He is the best of boys, adores the children and loves his family. They love this BIG Pup.

Unfortunately, large breeds come with their own health challenges. He found the right people to care for him because they have decided to do all they can to help him. In Brutus’ case he has to go to Columbus and have surgery to break both his elbows looking like $3,500 per limb. So upwards of $7,000 in medical expenses, he is such a big part of their family and hearts.

I always say big dogs are never here long enough, but while they are all we can do is the best we can. If this story pulls on those heart strings, or you feel compelled anything helps!

Here’s to helping Brutus get these surgeries to improve his quality of life. They'll put a screw in his elbows and cut his ulna bones so it can hopefully heal properly. (His growth plate never closed and didn't grow correctly.)
