Who we are:
Surfworks is a Marin-based non-profit organization that teaches appreciation, awareness, and love of the ocean to kids who normally would not have the opportunity. Through surf lessons, education, and ocean cleanup, we work to foster stewardship of the environment and a passion for the outdoors. The ocean belongs to all of us and through this program we want to share and protect it for future generations. Why fund us?
While we have many generous sponsors, running a summer camp for four weeks is no small task. It requires transportation, surfing equipment, teaching supplies, and meals for the campers. Your donations will help us fund the van rental, equipment rentals, and teaching supplies for all four weeks. Also, all donations are tax deductible!
Deadlines:
The camp runs throughout June and July, so we plan on finishing our fundraising in May.
We appreciate any and all donations, as well as spreading the word. It costs about $200 for a camper to attend Surfworks, so even a few bucks could allow a child to have this experience. If you can't donate, please post this on your social media sites and help us get funded!
