Support Filipino Kid Surfers

Help surfer kids stay in school, while nurturing their love for surf. Donate now and help put together school supplies for more than 600 Filipino kids in surf communities. Donate now and give these kids a chance to get academic scholarships. Donate now and help develop surf athletes who can be role models to fellow groms. Who are we? SURF TO SCHOOL is a collective effort that hopes to support the academic and athletic development of groms and juniors in different surf spots around the Philippines. What we hope to do is to: 1) continue supporting local groms by providing school supplies, including school bags, books, notebooks, paper, pencil and pens.  2) provide scholarship opportunities to more groms and extend the scholarship from 1 year to a full ride to high school 3) sponsor community libraries and have enough funds to restore / reshape old donated surfboards for the groms From 2014 to 2016, Surf to School was already able to  distribute over 400 school packs across 16 surf spots all over the country such as: Pagudpud, Cabugao, La Union, Baler, Zambales, Bataan, Quezon, Batangas, Bagasbas, Gubat, Palawan, Leyte, Samar, Cebu, Davao and Siargao S2S has also awarded 5 scholarships to date. And with your help, we hope to continue this mission and provide some relief to these kids and their families who are simply trying their best to get by.  We have groms who drop out of school to help their families earn a living despite their very young age. A lot of classrooms we've been to have limited school supplies that kids are rationed paper, where as some kids share 1 pencil (bought by their teachers). We have groms who learned to surf on plyboards or half of broken boards left by visiting surfers. There are some who even use tree sap as wax. There is so much we can do to help them!
