My name is Diana, I am a 17 year old High School senior from Fort Lauderdale. This summer I was selected as part of the USA National u19 lifesaving team. I will be traveling to New Zeland at the end of November to represent the USA at the DHL International Surf Rescue Challenge 2017. I will compete against other junior lifeguards from around the world. This has been a dream I have worked towards since I was 9. I consider it a huge honor to be one of 8 girls selected from our nation.
I swim for my local High School as well as a year round team. During my free time I train in the ocean, so I'll be ready to represent the USA in November. I love the ocean, it's my second home.
