With deep sorrow, we share the passing of Suresh Punnakkamattathil, aged 46. Suresh came to Canada along with his family on June 2, 2017, beginning a journey filled with hope and dedication. He first arrived in Quebec, later moved to Edmonton, and eventually settled in Owen Sound, he worked passionately as a chef. Through his hard work and warm nature, Suresh touched the lives of many and earned the respect of those who knew him.

Suresh is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his beloved family—his wife Ramya, and children Vasundhara and Yadav Suresh—along with extended family and friends.

During this heartbreaking time, we are raising funds to support the family with funeral and related expenses, helping to ease the financial burden they now face. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go directly toward honoring Suresh’s life and supporting his family.
