Surendra-Shashi Family Need Your Generous Donation & Support

Hi,

My name is Joana. Surendra's family that includes his wife Shashi and a cute and loving little 5yrs old daughter hold a special place in my heart and their well being means a lot to me. They came to the USA from India in 2017 for a better life. Newly married, the family was full of joy and energy. Surendra's wife Shashi is a very kind person and has always tried her best to experience all the joys and wonders that life has to offer. She is very caring and always taken good care of her friends or anyone who was in need. She never hesitated to go over and beyond when helping someone else, even if they were a complete stranger to her. She always stood for her friends and family no matter the circumstances. I am reaching out to you all today with a very heavy heart, but also with hope and determination. Our beloved Shashi (Surendra's wife) has unfortunately been diagnosed with a very aggressive kind of stomach cancer. Due to this unforeseen situation, her family is in severe distress. The family is embarked on a challenging journey towards her treatment and recovery.

As every one knows, cancer not only takes a toll on one's health but also on their finances. Besides this the family and friends undergo severe emotional trauma. The cost of treatment, medications, and other associated expenses can quickly accumulate, this places a significant burden on the family. In the face of this daunting challenge, we are turning to our community and friends for support.

We have set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to meet immediate and future medical expenses for Shashi's cancer treatment. At present she is getting treatment in SouthWest General Hospital, Cleveland, OHIO. But her wish is to be in India to see her mother in Chennai whom she has not seen in past 7 years. She wants her little 5 years old daughter to see her grandmother in her presence. With her medical condition, the only available option is an Air Ambulance. The expense is huge and certainly the family can not afford. Its a sincere plea to all the well wishers and Compassionate individuals to kindly support and donate generously so that her wish can be realized and she can be united with her loved ones at the final moment of her life and further cancer treatment can be persued in India.
