In loving memory of Surajini Suntharalingham

Donation protected
Hi, we are Surajini and Netherla's (her sister) friends and wanted to start a GoFundMe for her son Seshawn.

Surajini, a single mother, departed too soon.

A beloved single mother of 21-year-old Seshawn, passed away in her sleep on August 7, 2022, just weeks before turning 40. Surajini was a resilient, hard-working, strong-willed woman who fought for the people she loved and cared for. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend to many fortunate to cross paths with her.

After a bad marriage, Surajini raised her son and supported her parents and three siblings while finishing college at a young age. She always worked hard and was determined to give her son the best life; a debt-free education and an established life.

After injuring her spine, Surajini persevered in ensuring her son attended university. Seshawn is in his fourth year at Ontario Tech University. His Mother's sudden death has left a huge hole in her son’s life. To honour Surajini’s dreams of educating her son, that will help him obtain a safe and stable life, her friends ask for your generosity.

Surajini at the age of 39, thought she would have more time to plan her son’s future. However, she did not have a will or life insurance in place, she was more focused on providing and ensuring Seshawn’s completion of university.

Seshawn has worked hard to complete his 3rd year in a field he’s passionate about. However, he's facing a difficult situation with only one more year to complete his honours bachelor’s degree. As a result, he’s considering putting his education on hold to work full time to overcome these financial obstacles.

We kindly ask for your donation which will help support Seshawn’s tuition fees, lawyer fees and all external fees & debt that he will incur during this difficult process. Your generosity will allow a single mother’s lifelong dream of providing an opportunity of a stable and secured life for her son.

Please help Seshawn complete his university program and graduate.
No amount of money can replace the loss he had to endure, hoping this will make it easier to fulfill a mother’s dream.
