Help Support Our Hero Richard Payne & His Family ❤️

On Saturday 16th August at Loughor Boating Club, what started as a fun community raft race turned into a life-changing emergency. Our hero, Richard Payne, suddenly collapsed after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. He was rushed to Cardiff Heath University Hospital of Wales, where he underwent emergency brain surgery that saved his life.

Richard is a fighter, but the road to recovery is long and uncertain. His wife and family are by his side every step of the way, holding onto hope and strength in the face of the unthinkable.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help support Richard, his wife, and their family through this difficult time. The coming weeks and months will bring challenges—emotional, physical, and financial—and we want to lift some of that burden so they can focus on what truly matters: Richard’s recovery.
