Tonino's Funeral Arrangements Fund

A couple days after Christmas my son, Travis, and his family were driving home to Sacramento from Lake Tahoe, when they hit an icy section of the highway, lost control, and tumbled over an embankment landing upside down in the American River.  Miraculously, three of them survived.  But tragically, our youngest grandchild, 11-year-old Tonino (who preferred to go by "Tony"), did not.

Tony was a very bright little guy whose smile lit up the room.  He possessed an unlimited energy and curiousity, a natural athleticism, and loved building things.  His premature death has torn open the hearts of all those who knew him.  We will all miss him terribly.

His father, Travis, is now recovering at home in a back brace, due to his injuries, and unable to plan for Tony's funeral while continuing to care for Tony's two sisters.  Moreover, being unable to work for the time being, it will be difficult for him to cover funeral expenses.  So we are asking for help from anyone who can.

Money raised will go to pay for funeral and related expenses and help them through this difficult time.
