On July 3rd, John Pope suffered a series of rare strokes. Since that time, he has remained hospitalized in the neuro rehabilitation unit. The plan is to transition him home in mid-September while continuing extensive, ongoing therapy. While at home, John will require round the clock care for all of his needs.
Our goal for this page is to help raise funds for the extensive care John will need and offset costs already incurred during his 8 week inpatient stay. John is starting to show signs of improvement and the family is encouraged by what rehab has done so far. The hope is to continue speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy at home to give John the tools he needs to have a good quality of life.
We are John's work family and miss his presence around the office. He was always the first to arrive in the morning with his cup of tea and Tupperware for lunch. John is more than a coworker to us, he is our friend. Even though John is not here with us at the office, our hope is we will be able to improve his quality of life by raising funds for his ongoing care.
Thank you for your support of the Pope.....John Pope!
