Hello! My name is Alan Post and I'm a very close friend of Nick and Nathalie Novak.
Nick and Nathalie have been eager parents-to-be ever since they found out the wonderful news that they would be expecting back in November 2015.
Nick is a passionate 4th grade teacher in Brooklyn Park and is an excellent varsity basketball coach in St. Paul. Nathalie is a wonderful caring nanny in the Twin Cities community. Both love working with children and were ecstatic that they'll have one of their own in August 2016!
The Novaks decided to host a gender reveal party full of food, drinks, and family to be held on Saturday, May 14. However, baby Novak had other plans for his/her parents.
On Sunday, May 15, the Novaks' little peanut arrived, 15 weeks earlier than anticipated, and now they must face the unexpected challenge of covering their current and future medical expenses as well as any other unknown expenses that they're not quite aware of yet (perhaps prepping for a preemie in their home, etc).
UPDATE: Theodore "Theo" Clifford Novak was born Sunday evening, May 15, 2016. He weighs1 pound, 2 ounces and is moving all around!
I hope you can find it in your heart to support this young family in covering just a fraction of their medical costs. To you and me, they are a friend, a brother, a sister, a son/daughter, a grandchild, a teacher and a coach, a client, or just a friendly acquantaince that you've had the pleasure of getting to know and love throughout the years.
