Asking for help from friends, family and friends of the family; people I don't know ....anybody that can understand the story I have to share.
Two very close people to me that I've grown up with are in need of help. My best friends wife has metastasized breast cancer. So I ask for help.
I hold an annual pig roast celebration and gathering that I would like to turn it into a gathering for Esther. Friends, Family and anybody that wants to contribute to helping Esther, Art and their son be OK. These people are amazing and have always been amazing in our community to each other and to their amazing son Jonny. They have such a strong bond as family.
I would love everybody to be able to help ensure that Esther, Art and Jonny are looked after and helped financially. To know that there is a support system for them that is endless when the time comes and is needed. And that Esther knows this.
I'm setting up a bank account in order to collect money for the family. Paul and I will also be donating proceeds from the second annual West Errington Pig Roast and Jesse Carney Memorial Bike Rally on July 9th, 2016 to the Alberg family. The goal is to have everybody that ever spent time with Esther, Art or Johnny to be at the pig roast this year to celebrate and spend time with the family and especially with Esther. We wish to show her that she has made a huge mark on this planet and positively touched the lives of so many in our community... and it's a chance for us to let her know that.
Now for the more difficult part…The Alberg’s have let me know that they wish to be very private about their lives right now. They do not wish to have a flood of people reaching out. I ask that you respect this, please. I understand that the urge to contact and be helpful will be strong. Please understand that the family does not want to be reached out to at this time. They will reach out when they are ready and to whom they wish.
