The Holt Miracle

David Holt, a husband, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, head deacon of our church, a friend and brother-in-Christ.  He wears many hats and he wears them well!  He is a true servant of the Lord and his church - and always has a smile to give and a hug or handshake to share.  He is loved by many.

On March 16, 2018, David Holt had a heart attack while driving, causing him to veer into another lane, where he hit a  vehicle head-on.    David was rushed to Moses Cone trauma unit, while they treated him for multiple lacerations and a bruised heart.  Later they found that his right leg was broken near the knee and his left arm is shattered and they cannot  put a pin in right now.

Today, David is doing much better and is well on the way to recovery.  After 12 days in the hospital, he was released and allowed to go home where he is now recovering with his family. 

David is truly, probably the strongest man I know! Not only that, he is a walking miracle of God's love and the mercy that He has over our lives when we give our lives to Him.  David is the type of man that would drop whatever he is doing to go and help someone else - always putting others before himself.  He is self-employed and will not be able to work to help provide for his family while he is recovering from this accident.  Not only that, the additional burden of medical expenses that has been incurred due to this accident.  I am asking our church family and anyone who knows the Holt family, to come together in their time of need, to help them through this difficult time and give as the Lord impresses you to give.
