Talk Together London Community Interest Company is a social enterprise business with charitable objectives, delivering educational services to children, young people and families. We design, organize and deliver activities, services and resources that benefit people experiencing social and economic disadvantage.
Our goal
- Inspiring learners to reach their potential, think critically about the world they live in today and instil in them a sense of hope in the future: we use play and arts and crafts to support and promote creative thinking and motivation.
- Supporting school aged children, young people and their families by helping them perform better at school and create a successful future for themselves: we do so by providing them with support for their needs in an inclusive and safe learning environment.
- Offering fun learning activities to encourage learners to tap into their creativity for self-development: we build emotionally significant links to the life of each child and person, and engage all the senses and their critical thinking skills.
- Developing English literacy: we offer ‘story writing with play' workshops to lead learners to imagine their own worlds and communicate their ideas with each other and their families.
Can you help?
Talk Together London generates sustainable income by means of trading through the online shop and delivering services and activities such as workshops and one-to-one or group tuition, in order to fund the delivery of services in the community. By donating you are helping to deliver community services and to achieve charitable objectives.
As a social enterprise we fund our own activities. The funds we raise are used to cover volunteering costs, to get on board freelancer tutors and facilitators, and to buy supplies and learning materials to support the learners in their journey towards achieving their goals in their education and careers.
