Hi, my name is Paulene, and I am currently pursuing my MSN at the University of the Pacific. Along with eight of my classmates, I have the honor of representing the California Nursing Students’ Association (CNSA) UOP chapter at the California Nursing Students' Association (CNSA) Convention in San Diego this November 14-16.
This convention is an incredible opportunity for us as nursing students - it allows us to connect with nurses from across the nation, attend workshops, gain leadership skills, and deepen our knowledge in ways that will help us better serve our future patients. More importantly, it will help us grow together as a team of student leaders who are dedicated to making an impact in healthcare.
Since our chapter is still new, we don’t yet have the funds to fully support our students who hope to attend. The costs of lodging, transportation, and meals add up quickly, and as full-time students, many of us are unable to work enough hours to cover these expenses on our own while balancing school and clinicals.
That’s why we are turning to our community for support. Any contribution - big or small - will make a difference in helping us attend the annual conference in San Diego and take part in this experience. By supporting us, you’re not only helping student nurses today, but you’re also investing in the future of compassionate, skilled, and empowered nurses who will soon be serving patients and communities.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and generosity. We are so grateful for your support on this journey.
With gratitude,
Paulene, Alexis, Sah’Neya, Jeremy, Maya, Kelsi, Evangelyne, Lesly, and Alyssa
