Imagine you have spent the last 9 years in and out of the hospital, sometimes more than once a month, with excrutiating abdominal pain and overwhelming nausea. Every visit, doctors tell you that they don't know what is causing your pain. You try other hospitals, specialists. You spend every last dollar in your bank account to travel to the best medical centers in the country. Numerous tests are negative. Now after years, nurses and doctors who have treated you before, start to doubt your pain. You ask yourself, will this ever end?

Now imagine you return to the hospital yet again, this time, the doctors have different news "you have cancer, a form of leukaemia".

This is Stephen's reality. Today, he spends his first wedding anniversary in the hospital with his wife, Katelyn, as he receives his chemotherapy treatments, a form of arsenic (yes, the rat poison). Every day it's injected into his bloodstream for two hours through an IV in his arm that ends in his heart. It is so incredibly toxic, his nurses must wear gowns, thick gloves, and masks as they administer this poison into his system. All while his healthcare team continues to search for a reason behind his abdominal pain.

Stephen's wife, Katelyn, has been by his side for the last 11 years,  truly "in sickness and health". Unfortunately because of this, her Paid Time Off hours were used up earlier this year, even before his leukaemia diagnosis.

Due to this enormous financial, mental, and physical strain to their family, I've created this page to help ease their burden.

Please, if you are able, contribute a donation to help my best friends through this battle.

Stephen is a beloved Husband, a Daddy to Gabriella, an Uncle to 5 little ones, a Brother, a Son, and a Bestie. Help him fight this awful disease, please.
